Hiking for Housing transforms every hike into an opportunity to raise awareness, and financial support for Home Trust of Skagit. Every hike during the event helps move our mission forward.

For the month of September, join us in combining a favorite PNW pastime with our mission of creating lasting, affordable homeownership opportunities in Skagit County.

Participants can hike wherever and whenever they choose, logging their adventures and collecting pledges along the way. Share your hikes on social media to help spread the word and raise awareness about the importance of affordable housing in our community.

As a community land trust, Home Trust of Skagit works to help individuals and families access affordable homeownership while keeping those homes affordable to generations to come. By stewarding the land and supporting homeowners, we're investing in stability that reaches beyond a single household and into the community as a whole.

How it Works:

Step 1: Register

Step 2: Gather Pledges
Help make an impact by collecting pledges from family, friends, neighbors or coworkers.

Step 3: Hit the Trails
Spend the month hiking wherever you love to explore.

Step 4: Share your Adventure
Help raise awareness throughout the month of September by sharing your hikes on social media.

Step 5: Log your Hike
Every time you finish a hike, .record it in our hike log
